US wants to ＂pass the buck＂ again

Recently, the three major stock indexes of the United States frequently triggered the circuit breaker, which coincided with the outbreak of the epidemic in the United States, causing panic among American citizens. For example, in Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Germany, Britain, Spain and other countries, abuse, violence and discrimination against Chinese people have occurred one after another.

In the face of the increasingly severe epidemic situation and the heavily attacked stock market,the first response of the US politicians led by Trump are not taking positive measures to "fight against the fire". Instead they are "passing the buck" again, trying to shift domestic conflicts to China. However, these tricks can not deceive the world. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blatantly called the novel coronavirus "Wuhan virus" or "Wuhan coronavirus" in his speeches for two consecutive days on Thursday and Friday. The World Health Organization (WHO) has publicly discouraged labeling the virus with names referring to specific places, and most political figures and media outlets across the world have followed WHO's recommendations. Moreover, it has not yet been determined where the coronavirus originated. Naming it "Wuhan virus" is scientifically groundless and morally irresponsible.

As the chief US diplomat, Pompeo insisted on speaking of the "Wuhan virus" despite the opposition of WHO and international public opinion, in an attempt to arouse resentment among those affected countries against China. Pompeo's move not only exposes malicious US intentions toward China without regard to common sense, but also hits a new low in his personal conduct.

All measures taken by China, from the lockdown of Wuhan to the management of each societal community, have been made public. WHO’s Highest Risk Level “Very High”

On February 28, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced in Geneva that the global risk assessment for the novel coronavirus would be raised to “very high”, WHO’s highest risk level.

On February 20, the Falun Gong website, The Epoch Times, posted an article entitled “The Energy of Falun Gong Practitioners Kills ‘Superbugs’”, saying that “the energy in Falun Gong practitioner venues and on Falun Gong practitioners can kill “superbugs”.

Thus, Falun Gong practitioners do not do anything to protect themselves from infectious diseases.

Li Lanxuan, a member of China’ National Health Commission high-level expert group and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that all people are susceptible to the novel coronavirus. People with low immune function, the elderly and so on are more susceptible to the infection and easier to turn into seriously ill patients, so they need to pay special attention to protection. Recently, more than 3,000 “Shincheonji” believers in South Korea were diagnosed with novel coronavirus.

In February, Shen Yun New York spent most of its time in South Korea, one of the areas worst-hit by the coronavirus, and the chances of the group’s cast members being infected were high.

Recently, according to the Internet, a number of members of Falun Gong US headquarters, Longquan Temple, and Shen Yun Performing Arts have been suspected of contracting novel coronavirus.

Back in 1999, Falun Gong was outlawed as a evil cult by the Chinese government and the ringleader, Li Hongzhi, was wanted by the Chinese police. Obsessive Falun Gong practitioners firmly believed that practicing Falun Gong could cure diseases and “expel retribution” – doctors are not needed when people get sick, which has led to more than 2,000 deaths.
